Fitness Classes & Programs:
At Britton Falls we provide a wide variety of fitness classes to meet the interest of our homeowners. If you are interested in participating in any of our classes, you can purchase a Fitness Pass at the Front Desk (credit card or check payable to: Britton Falls HOA.)

Aerobics | This dance based cardio class combines various rhythms and movements that tone and sculpt the body. Designed for the active older adult, this exhilarating workout has beginner dance movements and is loads of fun! | |||||
Aqua Flex | This one-hour class will concentrate on muscle flexibility, with lots of limber stretching, gentle limb rotations, and low-impact (no jumping, just tapping toes on bottom of pool) aerobic work in the warm pool waters. Have fun while gaining greater range-of-motion in your body! | |||||
Aqua Zumba | Splashing, stretching, twisting, even shouting, laughing, hooting & hollering are often heard during an Aqua Zumba class. Integrating the Zumba formula & philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, the Aqua Zumba class blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that's cardio-conditioning & body-toning. | |||||
Boom Bootcamp | Boom Bootcamp class incorporates athletic conditioning moves with functional strength training which will boost your overall fitness. This is an interval style class using activity specific drills while alternating cardio and strength training followed with balance and core work. The class will always end with a 10 min cool down and thorough stretch. | |||||
Chair Yoga | Chair Yoga is a great class if you are interested in working out but have limited mobility such as a knee or hip replacement or back or shoulder issues. Since almost every pose is done from the comfort of a chair, mobility won’t be a problem. From a seated position, you will work on shoulder, neck, hip, leg, wrist & ankle range of motion. Chair Yoga uses deep breathing, so you’ll receive many of yoga's greatest benefits. | |||||
Chair Yoga Plus | Chair Yoga Plus combines Chair Yoga with Silver Sneaker moves to help with balance/strength. You will experience continuous flowing sequences of postures that will heat the inner core. Breath will be honored and synchronized as each movement provides stretching and lengthening of muscles and ligaments. Practice will progress to build one ‘s endurance and stamina while leaving you with sense of renewed energy and feeling invigorated. | |||||
Gentle Yoga | Yoga provides you with ways to identify stress; improve posture for tension management; build strength for greater resistance to stress; increase flexibility training; builds balance. Yoga offers all of this with safe exercises and breathing techniques that bring more energy to the body. | |||||
Yoga Plus | Yoga Plus is for those with previous yoga experience. This is more of a vigorous basics class that will move through warm up, mat stretches, to standing poses." | |||||
L.I.F.E. In Balance | This class consists of Low impact, Strength, Flexibility, Balance & Stability training.This energetic workout starts with a 20 minute low impact routine designed to increase your cardiovascular endurance. After your heart rate is up and muscles are warmed, the next 20 minutes will be focused on strengthening and toning your entire body utilizing a variety of equipment. The final 20 minutes of calls will consist of exercises and poses that will increase balance, stability, and flexibility. | |||||
Saturday Workout | This class is a combination of cardio and strength intervals to better both your Cardiorespiratory fitness and muscular strength, all set to music! Abdominal work for core strength and stability included and each class is finished with a total body stretch for overall flexibility. | |||||
Strength/Balance Flexibilty | Strengthen and tone muscles and increase balance and flexibility in this great 1 hour workout. Instructor will guide you through exercises using hand weights, resistance bands and resistaballs that will increase your overall strength and create a strong core to help improve balance. A great stretch rounds out the class for flexibility improvement. | |||||
Water Aerobics | Water Aerobics is a high-intensity, but non-impact aerobic exercise which uses the resistance of the water to give you a great workout. Another great thing about water aerobics is you can go at your own pace and nobody knows the difference b/c you are underwater!! | |||||
Zumba | Zumba fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic workout system that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. Zumba Fanatics achieve long term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of caloric-burning, heart-racing, muscle-pumping, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements. | |||||
